Interior Ministry arrests Ukrainian national for illegal purchase and possession of drugs

The officers of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department of the Interior Ministry of Georgia have arrested a Ukrainian national identified as only O.S., born in 1981 for the illegal purchase and possession of drugs in particularly large quantities.

31 packs of drugs were seized as a result of a search of the detainee carried out by the police officers.

An analysis will be conducted on the confiscated drugs.

 An investigation is in progress. The detainee may face eight - 20 years in jail or a life sentence.
