Police have detained three Georgian citizens for the illegal purchase and possession of firearms and ammunition in the western Georgian region of Imereti.

The Georgian Interior Ministry has released a video of detention:

The individual, identified as G.Kh., born in 1980, was found in illegal possession of a Kalashnikov assault rifle, 491 bullets, 2 rifles and an F-1 hand grenade in Kharagauli Municipality.

The crime is punishable by three to six years in prison.
