Between September 2018 and April 2019 853 prohibited items have been seized from pupils in different schools of Georgia, the Georgian Ministry of Education told the IPN news agency.
The resource officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have also seized tobacco, New Year’s explosives, an electro shock apparatus, and 33 items which could be used for the consumption of drugs and alcohol.
There were 20 recorded cases of bringing drugs onto school territory.
