Georgian weightlifter Revaz Davitadze has won gold at the World Championship in the city of Pattaya, Thailand earlier today.
Davitadze, 21, completed snatches of 166,169 and 172 kilograms.
He competed in the 89 kg category.
Last year he also won gold at the snatch competition at the European Weightlifting Championship held in Bucharest, Romania and a silver medal in the clean and jerk competition.
He won bronze at the 2018 World Championship.
The current championship in Thailand, which opened yesterday, has athletes competing from 100 countries.
The championship is scheduled to be completed on September 26.
