Georgia has won its second gold medal at the ongoing World Weightlifting Championship in the city of Pattaya, Thailand earlier today.
Anton Plesnoi completed snatches of 172kg,177kg and 181kg and set the under 23 European record.
He also won bronze in the clean and jerk competition
Georgian weightlifter Revaz Davitadze won gold at the championship yesterday.
The current championship in Thailand, which opened on September 23, has athletes competing from 100 countries.
Several Georgian athletes will compete in the coming hours, including top Georgian and world weightlifter Lasha Talakhadze.
The coach of the Georgian weightlifting team is Giorgi Asanidze.
The championship is scheduled to end on September 26.
