Lifeguards of the Emergency Management Service of Georgia’s Interior Ministry have saved six people with the help of a drone on the Black Sea coast today.

A 3 - 4 magnitude storm has hit the coastal regions of Georgia.

Take a look at the rescue operation:

Red flags have been put out on beaches to warn the public against swimming in the dangerous conditions.

The Emergency Management Service calls on holiday-makers to follow safety rules. Swimmers will be allowed back into the water when white flags are put up.

Earlier in August, lifeguards saved a 29-year-old local man from drowning in Makhinjauri, near Batumi during the storm.
