Georgia received $154.5 million from abroad in July 2019, which is 7% more than the amount in July 2018, says the National Bank of Georgia.
Russia ($38.98 million), Italy ($20.87 million) and Greece ($16.96 million) were the largest remittance senders in July 2019.
Overall, the vast majority (94.2%) of all money transfers from abroad came from 18 countries.
