MIA arrests two for drug trafficking

Low enforcers have arrested a couple for drug dealing in Tbilisi.

The crime is punishable by imprisonment of seven to fourteen years.

The investigators caught the offenders through a control purchase and hidden audio-video recording, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said today.

The detainees were found to be in possession of heroin as a result of a search.

98 individuals have been charged for drug crimes over the past seven months, according to official data.
