A Georgian citizen born in 1974 with several prior convictions has been arrested by the Ministry of Internal Affairs at Kutaisi International Airport for an attempt to enter the country with a large amount of drugs.
"Law enforcers have seized 40 pills of Buprenorphine as a result of a personal search of the detainee,” the MIA said in a statement released today.
The crime committed by the detainee is punishable 15 to 20 years of imprisonment or life imprisonment under the Georgian Criminal Code.
