International electronic music artists including Stephan Bodzin and Arnaud Rebotini will join local talent on Tbilisi's former Hippodrome Park for the second edition of Ornament Fest, held over two dates starting next week.
The festival stage on the popular recreational spot will seek to again include "modern electronic music, pantomime and a variety of visual elements, which creates a different modern synthesis", said organisers.
In the first event of the festival on October 13, Berlin-based Jan Blomqvist will bring his electronica band "to shatter the boredom" he refers to when speaking about his work.
The same event will see another German-based producer, Riccicomoto, aim to make music lovers dance on Hippodromi and showcase his multi-genre experimentation that has seen him make "jazz, soul, cinematography, deep house and electronic sounds".
The two headline acts will be joined by Georgian artists Tade — who released his first tracks with the Canadian label Deep Dash Records — and Rere Gelenidze, producer focusing on "melancholic sound" and releasing on Maintain Replay Records.
A week after the first show, two influential artists from Europe will use their performing talents to entertain festival crowds.
Stephan Bodzin - praised as a "hugely influential figure within the global techno scene" by prestigious online platform Resident Advisor - will bring his techno sounds to provide the audience with a rave experience.

The DJ booth will be also taken over by French artist Arnaud Rebotini, known for his electro house productions and as a member of the Black Strobe band.
Tade and Rere Gelenidze will again provide support acts for the visiting performers as the October 21 show concludes the festival.
Ornament fest launched last year with artists including Nthng and Oliver Huntemann, with thousands of club-goers attending the shows.
