Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili has met with President of the National Assembly of Armenia Ara Babloyan, who is paying an official visit to Tbilisi today.
The pair discussed the 25-year diplomatic relations between Georgia and Armenia and stressed the potential of deepening trade and economic cooperation.
Kvirikashvili thanked Babloyan for the help Armenia provided during a massive forest fire in Georgia’s Borjomi Gorge this August.
They also discussed the potential of cooperation in tourism and maintenance of cultural heritage.

Accompanied by a delegation from the Armenian parliament, Babloyan met with other Georgian officials as well, including Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze and Parliament Speaker Irakli Kobakhidze.
