Georgian judokas Beka Tsipiani and Giorgi Chikhelidze have claimed two medals in two days after competing among 325 athletes at the ongoing European Youth Olympic Festival in Gyor, Hungary this week.
Tsipiani claimed his silver medal in the 55kg category on Tuesday after finishing second to Turkey's Mihrac Akkus.
Following on Wednesday, Chikhelidze's performance ensured he defeated Petru Pelivan of Moldova to claim the first gold for Georgia in the 66kg category at the event.

Chikhelidze and other 66kg prize-winners were handed their medals during the awards ceremony by Georgian National Olympic Committee president Leri Khabelov.
Beside the two young medallists, Georgia is represented at the festival by other boys and girls of the team.
Guram Dzavashvili (60kg) and Ekaterine Tatunashvili (52kg) faced their opposition within fixtures of the tournament that features athletes from 50 nations.

Four more competitors of the Georgian team are scheduled to compete at the Olimpiai Sportpark Judo Hall in Gyor today, with both boys and girls taking to the mat.
Tinatin Revazishvili and Mariam Tchanturia will rely on their talent to progress in the 57kg and 63kg categories, with Levan Psuturi (73kg) and Vladimer Akhalkatsi (81kg) also set to feature.
