Georgia's Black Sea city Batumi is set to turn into a big destination for jazz enthusiasts for four days starting later today, with award-winning bands and artists including Jamiroquai and Joss Stone set to entertain the audience.

The city's coastline Batumi Tennis Club and Take Five Club will host the headlining and supporting acts of Black Sea Jazz Festival, with RnB artist Cory Henry and his band The Funk Apostles opening the 11th festival.

Grammy- and MTV Video Music Award-winning Jamiroquai will perform at the Tennis Club on Friday, before American hip hop trio De La Soul take to the same stage on Saturday.

Joss Stone, a recipient of two Brit Awards and a Grammy for her music, will also appear at the venue that has become a customary spot for the annual festival.

Stone will travel to Batumi two days after performing at the No Borders Music Festival in Tarvisio, Italy.

On the supporting events' roster, American trombonist Matthew Hartnett and Paris-based multi-genre musician Lou Berry feature along with MF Robots band ahead of the September release of their debut album.

The artist roster for this year's festival was unveiled by organisers in March, with the line-up confirming the most sizeable edition of the festival.

Founded in 2007, the Black Sea Jazz Festival has featured artist rosters showcasing some of the most recognised performers and bands in jazz, soul, RnB and other genres.

Last year’s anniversary edition of the event included shows by Quincy Jones, Ms Lauryn Hill and Macy Gray playing for music lovers in the seaside city.
