Davos 2016: Arabian company expresses interest in Georgia’s hospitality, trade industry

An Emirati holding company based in Dubai plans to expand its investments in Georgia.

Company officials from Majid Al Futtaim holding expressed interest in investing in Georgia’s hospitality and trade industry.

This new was revealed today in Davos, Switzerland at the World Economic Forum during an official meeting between Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Majid Al Futtaim company representatives.

The Arab company will cooperate with Georgia’s state-owned shareholding company the Partnership Fund (PF) while carrying out its investments in Georgia.

Earlier today in Davos the Georgian PM met Jean-Yves Charlier, chief executive officer of VimpelCom, which is one of the world’s largest integrated telecommunications services operators.
