Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg have enjoyed a face-to-face meeting and discussed Georgia’s integration process into NATO in Davos, Switzerland.
The meeting was part of the Georgian PM’s two-day visit to Davos in connection with the World Economic Forum.
The NATO Secretary General said in recent years Georgia had taken important steps to get closer to NATO and its standards.
Kvirikashvili thanked Stoltenberg for supporting Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. Kvirikashvili expressed hope that Georgia-NATO relations would deepen further.

Afterwards Stoltenberg said it was an "excellent” meeting.
We talked about the NATO Summit in Warsaw. We also talked about the Defence Ministerial which will be held in February and where will be arranged the NATO-Georgia commission meeting,” Stoltenberg said.
NATO Secretary General added the Alliance would continue its fruitful cooperation with Georgia.
