"I was not thinking about that only about winning this match. There was pressure on me in the quarter-final when I fought against my team mate but I didn't have to prove anything to anyone. I just went out there and fought and won and I'm very happy with that."
Also yesterday Georgian judoka Valeri Liparteliani won a silver medal.
By the final day of competition, Georgia had won two gold, five silver and eight bronze medals and its first record, which came from athlete Bachana Khorava who gained first place in the team competition in the men’s long jump.
