Ten Georgian private companies and national tourism bodies promoted the country’s visitor potential at EMITT 2025, an international fair held last week in Istanbul, the Georgian National Tourism Administration said on Friday.
The businesses were joined by the Administration, the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Black Sea region of Adjara, as well as the destination management organisations of the western Imereti and Samegrelo regions.
The exhibition, which attracted around 30,000 visitors from 95 countries, featured 653 tourism organisations and companies. Among the attendees was Aleksandre Jishkariani, the Consul General of Georgia in Istanbul.
At their promotional stand, the Georgian representatives showcased the country’s resorts, cultural heritage, and “enriching travel experiences”.
The Georgian private sector engaged in B2B meetings with Turkish counterparts, aiming to forge new business relationships.
The EMITT 2025 exhibition saw participation of over 220 tour operators.
