Deputy Economy Minister: Georgian PM to address global leaders at World Governments Summit, present “our country’s results”

Mariam Kvrivishvili, the Deputy Economy Minister of Georgia, on Tuesday said the country’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze would have an opportunity to address global leaders at the ongoing World Governments Summit in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates and present “our country’s results”.

The Summit commenced today, and Georgia’s participation is crucial for enhancing and positioning our country”, she said.

Kvrivishvili stressed the importance of “high-level” meetings scheduled with political leaders from the host country, focusing on strengthening trade, economic, and investment ties, as well as enhancing cooperation in tourism and airline sectors.

The Deputy Minister highlighted planned discussions with executives from “leading” Emirati/Gulf  companies to explore avenues for attracting investments to Georgia.

It is very important we utilise this platform to not only showcase our achievements but also introduce global leaders to the business and investment environment in our country”, she added.

The Prime Minister travelled to Dubai on Monday, and was accompanied by Economy Minister Levan Davitashvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili, Minister of Justice Anri Okhanashvili, and Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.

The central theme of the 2025 Summit is Shaping Future Governments, with the event hosting over 6,000 participants.
