The Georgian national rugby team on Saturday beat the Netherlands with a score of 40:7 in its second game of the 2025 Rugby Europe Championship.
The Lelos, hosting the match at the Avchala Rugby Stadium in the capital of Tbilisi, secured six tries compared to one by the Dutch.
Davit Niniashvili, a Georgian full-back, was named the best player of the match.
The Georgian squad, having delivered a resounding 110:0 victory against Switzerland last week on top of yesterday’s win, leads pool A of the contest.
The national team holds the record for the most Rugby Europe Championship titles, having won the tournament 16 times, with the last seven won consecutively.
