Aleksandre Tabatadze, the Chair of the Defence and Security Committee of the Georgian Parliament, is attending the Parliamentary Intelligence and Security Forum held in Manila, the capital of the Philippines.

The Forum’s agenda includes discussions on technologies, digital currency, cybersecurity, foreign investments, semiconductors, artificial intelligence, next-generation telecommunications, financial networks, strategic minerals, the development of maritime cables and infrastructure, and related security threats.

Tabatadze is attending the forum at the invitation of the event’s Director and organiser, the former US Congressman Robert Pittenger, and the Speaker of the Philippine House of Representatives, Martin Romualdez.

As part of the parliamentary event, meetings will be held with representatives of legislative and executive authorities.

The Forum is held annually in various countries around the world, bringing together parliamentarians, government officials, and experts from over 60 countries.
