The Government Administration building is on Sunday illuminated in the colours of the Georgian flag as the country marks the National Flag Day, the Administration said.
Adjarabet Arena stadium in the Black Sea city of Batumi was also illuminated in red and white to mark the day.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, President Salome Zourabichvili and Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili earlier today congratulated Georgian citizens on Flag Day.
National Flag Day is marked in Georgia today, as the current flag was adopted by Parliament on January 14, 2004. The flag was used by the Georgian patriotic movement following the country's independence from the Soviet Union in 1991.
Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili on Sunday said Georgia’s national flag would join the flags of the European countries to “form a new and strong unity”, in her address on National Flag Day.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on Sunday congratulated the citizens on National Flag Day, highlighting it as “the most visible embodiment of the Georgian spirit, national identity, our freedom and independence”.
Today Georgia is marking National Flag Day. The current national symbol of Georgia is also known as the Five Cross Flag.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on Saturday congratulated the citizens on National Flag Day, highlighting it as “one of the most important” symbols of Georgian statehood.
