Evidently, Russia pursues one policy towards its neighbours. International community must remain decisive in responding to unprovoked and unjustified aggression”, Georgia’s CoE representative stressed.
Georgia has supported more than 600 resolutions, statements and political acts to support Ukraine, its sovereignty and territorial integrity, condemning Russia's military aggression, since the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine war on February 24, 2022.
Since its start, Georgia has provided humanitarian aid to Ukraine, while also sheltering the country’s citizens amid the ongoing military aggression.
Russia began its military assault on Ukraine three days after President Vladimir Putin announced the recognition of the independence of the Ukrainian regions of Donetsk and Luhansk on February 21.
