The Georgian Government on Tuesday announced holidays for civil servants throughout the country for the New Year’s festive season in January.
Under the decree of the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, holidays for public sector employees are declared from January 3 to 10.
The holidays will not apply to the services and employees of the administrative bodies, the functions of which are of “urgent necessity” for exercising state power and the normal functioning of the society, as well as to state procurements and financial obligations of entities supervised by the country’s National Bank.
