Georgian customs officers seized around ₾100,000 ($35,684) in undeclared solver items at the checkpoint of the Tbilisi International Airport in the country’s capital city, the Revenue Service said on Thursday.
A “large amount” of undeclared silver jewellery, weighing in at 26 kilograms in total, was uncovered by the officers upon physical and luggage searches of foreign citizen at the Airport checkpoint, the body also added.
Case materials for the offence have been sent to the Investigation Service of the Georgian Finance Ministry.
