Georgian FM, UAE Ambassador discuss cooperation

Maka Botchorishvili, the Georgian Foreign Minister and Ahmed Alnuaimi, the United Arab Emirates Ambassador to the country, on Wednesday discussed cooperation between the countries at an introductory meeting. 

The parties highlighted the “intensively developing relations” between the UAE and Georgia and stressed the importance of further deepening the ties in various fields, as well as exchanging “high-level” visits.

At the meeting, the officials also reviewed the current developments in the Middle East region, the Foreign Ministry said.

The UAE Ambassador congratulated Botchorishvili on her appointment as the Minister and wished her success in her future endeavours.

Botchorishvili and Alnuaimi expressed readiness to contribute to further deepening “fruitful cooperation” between the two nations.
