Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Saturday said the “liberal fascism” had “no chance of victory” in the country and his Government had a “very important national mission” to “finally end” it.

At a press briefing, Kobakhidze claimed “wealthy” NGOs and four „famous“ domestic opposition parties - the Unity-National Movement, Coalition for Change, Strong Georgia and Gakharia for Georgia - were the “main distributors of the liberal fascism propaganda” in the country.

Bolsheviks [far-left faction of the Marxist Russian Social Democratic Labour Party] used to act exactly with the same methods at that time. That was happening exactly one century ago and today, liberal fascism is utilising the same methods. For them, neither mother, nor son, elder, child, homeland, nor God, and nothing exists. This is precisely the same script that Bolsheviks had”, the PM noted.

The head of the Government added these four opposition parties and NGOs were engaged in the “propaganda of abomination that we see, including on the streets of Tbilisi” and vowed the Government would “do its utmost” to end it.
