Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Monday said his Government was “continuing to work for the development of the country”, adding the objective was “the main responsibility and task” following general elections held last month.

During a Government meeting earlier today, Kobakhidze outlined ongoing efforts to advance projects in line with the Government’s developmental agenda.

He pointed out “several meetings” had taken place to deliberate on “specifics of projects” slated for implementation under the Government programme.

We discussed details of specific mega-projects that have been announced and should be implemented in the following years”, Kobakhidze said.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the pursuit of “very interesting” investment projects, revealing some of the initiatives were nearing completion and outcomes would be announced “very soon”.
