Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili on Monday met Mantas Adomėnas, the Secretary General of the Community of Democracies, to discuss cooperation between the country and the body.

In his social media post, Darchiashvili highlighted the meeting, held on the sidelines of the ongoing 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The Georgian official also extended his congratulations to Adomėnas, who was elected to his position by the Governing Council of the CoD in August.
