The Inter-Agency Commission for Free and Fair Elections, established under Georgia’s Ministry of Justice to prevent electoral violations by civil servants, held its fifth meeting on Monday, with the session reviewing responses to information gathered through monitoring efforts, the Ministry said.

The Commission, led by Justice Minister Rati Bregadze in the run-up to the October 26 general elections, reviewed a report in response to information received via media monitoring, the Ministry noted.

The meeting included participation from heads of member public agencies, as well as representatives from international monitoring organisations such as the International Republican Institute and the National Democratic Institute, alongside members of political parties.
