Ilia Darchiashvili, the candidate for the position of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, on Wednesday said the Georgian Government would support Ukraine “now and in the future”.
In his comments at a session of a committee in the Georgian legislative body, Darchiashvili said “everyone knows how honourably Georgia has acted in support of the Ukrainians” since the launch of the Russian invasion of the country in early 2022.
He also vowed that “this process will continue in the future”.
The candidate for FM also highlighted the Government’s support for Ukraine in international organisations amid the ongoing war.
