Georgian Parliament's European Integration Committee Chair discusses EU relations, security with Israeli Ambassador

Maka Botchorishvili, the Chair of the European Integration Committee in the Georgian Parliament, on Tuesday met with Hadas Meitzad, the Israeli Ambassador to Georgia, to discuss the countries’ relations with the European Union, regional geopolitical and security challenges, and Tbilisi’s foreign policy priorities.

The officials also examined the impact of conflicts on economic development and emphasised the significance of the South Caucasus region, the Parliament of Georgia press office said.

The discussion also covered the EU’s relations with candidate and partner countries after Georgia obtained the bloc’s membership candidate status last year.
