Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Saturday claimed by 2030 Georgia would be “the most prepared” country for integration into the European Union compared to other candidate states, adding his Government would continue to take further “appropriate steps” in this direction.
Kobakhidze also emphasised his Government’s “optimistic” mood towards the prospect of the country joining the European Union.
"I am sure by 2030 Georgia's accession to the European Union is absolutely real," the PM added.
The European Council granted the EU membership candidate status to Georgia last year.
