Georgian canoer Zaza Nadiradze claimed a bronze medal at the Canoe Sprint, Paracanoe and Standup paddleboarding European Championships hosted in Hungary, the Sports Ministry said on Friday.
Nadiradze covered the 200-metre distance of the single-seater canoe in 38.898 seconds and claimed his win.
The Ministry said a Polish athlete became the European champion, while a Spanish canoer became the vice-champion at the competition.
The body added the Georgian national team was participating in the European Championships with the support of the Ministry.
