Georgia’s Zaza Nadiradze will compete in the 200-metre final at the ongoing Canoe Sprint World Championships in Halifax, Canada on Saturday after claiming the spot in the semi-final on Wednesday.
The Georgian athlete won gold at the Canoe Sprint World Cup in the Polish city of Poznan in 2019.
He became the first athlete from Georgia to win the Canoe Sprint European Championships, after finishing first in a race in Belgrade, Serbia in 2018.
