Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Ilia Darchiashvili, the country's Foreign Minister, on Wednesday left for a visit to Iran to attend the funeral of Ebrahim Raisi, the Iranian President, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the country’s Foreign Minister and officials.
The PM’s press office said the officials would attend the funeral following the Iranian Government figures’ death in a helicopter crash on Sunday.

Raisi, Amir-Abdollahian and accompanying politicians were killed after their helicopter crashed in poor weather in mountains near the Azerbaijan border.
