Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili on Monday sent his “deepest condolences” over the death of Ebrahim Raisi, the Iranian President, the country’s Foreign Minister and officials in a helicopter crash.
Deeply saddened about the recent helicopter crash that caused the death of President Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-abdollahian and other officials. My deepest condolences to the people of Iran and the families of the deceased”, Darchiashvili posted on X.
Raisi and the officials were killed on Sunday after their helicopter crashed in poor weather in mountains near the Azerbaijan border.
