Georgian Parliament Committee Chair to lead OSCE short term observer mission for elections in North Macedonia

Nikoloz Samkharadze, the Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Georgian Parliament from the ruling Georgian Dream party, was on Monday appointed to lead a short term observer mission of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe for presidential and parliamentary elections in North Macedonia on Wednesday.

Samkharadze will also deliver a post-election preliminary statement in his capacity.

In a social media message, the lawmaker said he was “honoured” by the appointment.
