Georgian Tourism Administration features at UNWTO Commission for Europe meeting

The National Tourism Administration of Georgia participated in the 70th meeting of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation Commission for Europe, which brought together 40 high-level representatives in the Albanian capital Tirana between Sunday and Tuesday.

The Administration said Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and UNWTO Secretary General Zurab Pololikashvili opened the session for the meeting.

Tamar Koriauli, the First Deputy Head of the GNTA, addressed the event with comments about Georgia’s upcoming hosting of the World Tourism Day in September.

The 70th meeting of the UNWTO Commission for Europe was attended by national tourism authorities who shared solutions to challenges facing tourism and opportunities offered by the sector's post-pandemic return. The meeting also included thematic discussion panels.
