Georgia’s Emergency Management Service Head, UNDP Resident Rep discuss climate risk data management

The reduction of the climate-induced disaster risks and introduction of a unified climate risk data management system were discussed on Wednesday by Temur Mgebrishvili, the Head of the Emergency Management Service of the Interior Ministry of Georgia and Douglas Webb, the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme in Georgia.

The parties also reviewed the existing cooperation and the prospect of deepening ties, the Emergency Management Service said.

The meeting was also attended by Nino Antadze, the Environment and Energy Team Leader at the UNDP Georgia, as well as the project managers of the Green Climate Fund.
