Georgian Defence Minister Irakli Chikovani and Hadas Meitzad, the Ambassador of Israel to Georgia, on Wednesday discussed the “deep-rooted friendship” between the two countries, laying groundwork for existing political relations.
In an introductory meeting, Chikovani thanked Meitzad for her support of Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, the Defence Ministry said.
The Georgian Minister also expressed his solidarity to the Ambassador over the events that have developed in Israel, following the terrorist attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.
