Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on Wednesday discussed his Government’s “close and friendly” ties with Israel in his Tbilisi meeting with Zaza Kandelaki, Georgia’s new Ambassador to the country.
During the discussion, the head of the Government and the diplomat discussed “priority areas” of the bilateral cooperation between the states, future plans for collaboration and the recent developments in the Middle East, the Government press office said.
With extensive experience in public service, Kandelaki served within the country’s foreign office and diplomatic missions abroad, including as Ambassador to Jordan, Poland and Hungary.
