Georgian judoka Giorgi Chikhelidze on Saturday claimed the silver medal at the Paris Grand Slam 2024, the Georgian Judo Federation said.
Chikhelidze was defeated by his Japanese rival Tatsuki Ishihara in the final of the -73 kg category of the tournament.
The 23-year-old Georgian won five matches at the Grand Slam, which ran from Friday to Sunday, with 621 judokas from 107 countries participating in the competition.
