“Main directions” of strategic partnership between Georgia and China were discussed on Wednesday in a meeting between the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Paata Kalandadze, the country’s newly appointed Ambassador to China.
The meeting focused on priorities of partnership relations, the Government Administration said, adding the officials also reviewed the “successful” visit of the PM to China last year, which saw the cooperation between the countries upgraded to a strategic partnership.
Kalandadze previously worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and held the position of the country’s Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Israel and the United Arab Emirates.
