Silk Road Group finishes clearance of historical Melik Azaryants house

Silk Development, the real estate branch of Silk Road Group, one of Georgia's leading private investment groups, conducted cleaning works of the historical building, the house of Melik Azaryants, located on Rustaveli Avenue in Georgia’s capital Tbilisi, the company said on Thursday.
The Silk Development cleaned up an area of around 2,000 square metres of an internal yard of the historical building, which has been “in the worst condition” over the past years. The company allocated ₾20,000 ($7,700) for this purpose, with its one of the affiliate companies Center Plaza conducting the cleaning up works.

The house of Melik Azaryants, which was built over three years starting in 1912, stands out among other Tbilisi buildings "not only for its size, but also for its extravagant architecture” and up to 80 percent of the entire building is now owned by the Silk Road Group.
