Georgian PM, new Ambassador to Norway discuss prospects for closer cooperation between countries

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Zurab Beridze, the country’s newly appointed Ambassador to Norway, on Monday discussed the existing cooperation and prospects for closer partnership between the two states. 

The Government Administration said the discussion had praised the “friendly and partnership relations”, with accompanying “growing dynamics”, between the two countries.

The officials also highlighted bilateral relations covered “a wide range of directions”, including politics, economy, defence, education and culture. 

Beridze is a career diplomat, having served as Ambassador to Moldova, Romania and Bulgaria over the recent years while also assuming positions in Georgia’s foreign office.
