The Georgian National Tourism Administration on Friday said it had hosted more than 350 foreign journalists and tour operators this year in order to promote the country as a visitor destination.
The Administration said “influential” media outlets such as The Guardian, Forbes, The Financial Times, Elle, The Times, Marie-Claire, National Geographic, Saveur, Vogue, The Sunday Times, The Huffington Post, Sueddeutsche Zeitung and others had promoted Georgia through articles, blogs, reports and videos.
Millions of readers, users of social networks and TV viewers all over the world were introduced to hundreds of articles and stories about Georgia”, it noted.
The body added it had also organised 67 information tours and 13 familiarisation tours this year.
