Ruling party to hold convention on policy, 2024 elections next week

Irakli Kobakhidze, the head of the ruling Georgian Dream party, on Friday said the ruling party would hold the convention next week to review its general policy and preparation for the 2024 parliamentary elections.
Kobakhidze noted the composition of the political council of the party would be updated at the convention, set to be hosted on December 30.
The new composition will see 15 members elected, instead of 20.
The convention of the ruling party will be attended by up to 350 delegates.
