Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on Tuesday extended his “heartfelt congratulations” to Donald Tusk on being elected as PM of Poland.
In his social media post, Garibashvili said he was looking forward to “a fruitful cooperation” with Tusk to further strengthen a “special partnership” between Georgia and Poland.

The Georgian PM noted his Government counted on Poland’s “steadfast support” towards Georgia’s foreign policy priorities to advance on the European Union membership path.
Poland’s Parliament voted in favour of Tusk becoming the PM on Monday, with 248 votes in favour and 201 against, the media reported.
