The Council of Europe’s “unwavering commitment” to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia, as well as the Council’s support to the country’s European path, was reviewed on Wednesday by Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Lasha Darsalia and Marija Pejčinović Burić, the CoE Secretary General.
At the meeting, Burić confirmed she would “keep the member states of the CoE abreast” of the human rights developments in Georgia’s conflict-affected areas through the bi-annual Consolidated Report on the Conflict in Georgia, published today, covering the period from April to September, the CoE press office said.
