Georgia’s capital Tbilisi is hosting 70 companies from eight countries for the 21st edition of the international exhibition Agro, Food, Drink, Tech, Expo 2023 from Friday to Sunday at the Expo Georgia fairgrounds.
At the exhibition, agricultural machinery, packaging materials, greenhouse technologies and equipment, irrigation systems, as well as planting and seeding materials and fertilisers, are presented by the participants from Georgia, Italy, Poland, Turkey and Ukraine, as well as India, China and Belarus.
The exhibition was opened by Deputy Environment Minister Kakha Kakabadze, Resan Kikava, the Director of Expo Georgia, and Kazim Kartal, the Deputy Head of Mission of the Turkish Embassy in Georgia.
This exhibition is an event with a 21-year history and is the best platform for manufacturers to establish business contacts and introduce their products to the target audience. Every year, the exhibition hosts more and more visitors and participants”, Kakabadze said in his comments at the exhibition.
He noted the Environment Ministry continued to support events contributing to the promotion of Georgian products, as well as helped the entrepreneurs and farmers of the country to increase production and export opportunities.
